Vestibular Rehab
| The vestibular system can be treated by a physical therapist if the dysfunction is mechanical such as BPPV or a nerve disorder. BPPV, otherwise know as Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo occurs suddenly leaving the patient dizzy especially during movement. The treatment includes positional rotation of a patients head to help the copela crystals move in their channels, tuning up our balance, recurring alternative balance systems, & retraining reflexes to be faster. Often amazing results occur in just a few visits to therapy. |
